The Heatmap

Each row is a market and each column is a moment in time. Color encodes the value of the active signal for that market and candle. Rows are ranked by the active signal by default — the strongest longs ride the top, the strongest shorts sit at the bottom, and quiet markets settle in the middle. Switch the sort, or star a row to pin the pairs you always want on top — your pinned markets also collect in the Pinned tab of the rail beside the chart, one click from being charted. To look further back, click and drag sideways to pan through history: the heatmap, the chart above it, the indicator strip under the chart, and the regime band all share one timeline, so grabbing any of them scrolls them all through time together.

Timeframes — Peek Before You Commit

The timeframe control rides the chart itself: six chips — 1m to 1d — grouped as one control on its own row just beneath the ticker. Hover a chip to PEEK that timeframe: the chart, the indicator strip under it, your levels and markers, the regime band, and the heatmap all show that timeframe while you hold — and nothing re-sorts, so your read of the board survives the glance. Release (or press Esc) and you are back exactly where you were. Click a chip to switch the whole desk; rows re-rank once for the new timeframe, and because a peek pre-warms the data, committing after a peek is instant.

• Your drawn levels and price alerts carry across timeframes unchanged — they are anchored to price. Your fills and signal markers re-anchor to the new bars automatically.
• Press [ or ] to step the timeframe down or up from the keyboard.
• Trading on 5m but want the bigger picture? Hold 1h or 1d for a beat, read the structure, release. The board never flinches.
• On a phone the timeframe stays in the Controls sheet — peeking is a pointer gesture.

The Command Bar

• The bar shows values, not labels: the board face (Map or Table) and how many markets are firing right now. The candle timeframe rides the chart itself — see Timeframes above.
• Board refresh and sort are one tap away: on a wide screen the board-refresh tempo and the row sort ride the bar as their own controls (tap either to change it); on a narrow window or phone they fold into the Controls sheet. Sort by Signal — longs first (the default: strongest longs on top, shorts at the bottom) or shorts first (the inverse, for hunting the down-side) — by Strength (the strongest reads of either side together), by Matches (firing pairs first), or by Volume.
• Filters appear as chips only when you change them — set a market scope, move the tradable-size floor, or raise the minimum score and a chip shows on the bar; clear it back to the default and the chip disappears. The minimum score sets the conviction a cell must clear to count as a hit, and you choose what happens below it: Dim fades the weaker cells in place, or Hide drops any row that is not hitting so the board and Table collapse to just the live setups (your pinned pairs always stay).
• Everything else — row grouping, the filters while at their defaults, and the color scale — lives under the single ⋯ menu at the end of the bar.
• Search: press / to focus and clear the ticker filter, then type to jump to a symbol — / always resets the field, it never types a slash.
• Pin: keep the pairs you trade at the top of the grid regardless of rank.

Group The Board Into Sections

Grouping breaks the single board into collapsible sections without ever splitting it into separate boards — the active signal still ranks every market inside each section. Choose how to group from the ⋯ menu on desktop, or the Controls sheet on a phone.

• By Scope: section the board by asset class — Crypto, Equities, Commodities, FX, Indices — each with its own header and count.
• By Watchlist: float your saved lists to the top, one section each, with everything else dropped into a trailing “Other” section you can hide for a lists-only view. Give each list a color that tints its section header, and your lists sync across your devices.
• Tap any section header to collapse or expand it. Your grouping and which sections are folded are remembered per device.
• It works exactly the same on your phone: pick the grouping in the Controls sheet, and the focus lens scrubs straight through the sections — headers and all — while a tap on a section header folds it. Mobile is full parity, not a lite version.

Three Views

Switch between the heatmap Map and the Table with the toggle at the top of the board; the Tape runs live in the match log beside them. On a phone, a bottom tab bar carries every view — and the Map and the Table are navigated the same way: scroll the board and whichever pair sits under the focus marker drives the chart on top, live; tap a row to bring it under the marker, or drag the side rail to fly through the whole list.

• Map: the full heatmap, for scanning the market at a glance.
• Table: a ranked shortlist of the pairs firing hardest on your board right now — the same Total the heatmap paints, as a sortable list. On a phone the rows are compact — so more pairs read at once — and scroll under the same focus marker as the heatmap; tapping a row moves the marker to it.
• Tape: a live feed of pairs as they newly hit the signal — freshness first.

Inspect A Pair

Click any row to open the inspector: a price chart with a crosshair synced to the heatmap cell under your cursor. Move along the row to scrub the same moment on the chart, so you can line up an order-book event with the candle it produced.

Key Stats For The Focused Market

The line above the chart carries the numbers you want before you act on a market: its 24h dollar volume and where that ranks across the venue, open interest, the current funding rate, and the size the book can absorb right now without slipping past the impact cap — so “can I actually get filled here?” is answered before you place the order, not after. Click the line to open the full dossier.

• Execution: what a market order of three different sizes would cost you in basis points right now, plus the spread, the depth sitting near the touch on each side, and how far price moves per million dollars of flow. A size shown in red is one this book cannot take without breaching the cap.
• Flow: 24h volume and venue rank, open interest, the funding rate with what it works out to annualized, and how far the mark sits from the index.
• Co-movement: how strongly the market tracks BTC, how much of its move is its own rather than the market’s, and the other markets currently moving with it — click any of them to jump straight there.
• Catalyst: the latest material headline for that market, and the next scheduled economic event. A market with no catalyst simply shows none.
• Every number is measured from live data. Where something cannot be measured it is left out rather than estimated, so a stat on screen is always a real reading.
• On a phone you get the same stats in full: tap a row and the inspector rises with the dossier at the top, above the signal breakdown. Dismiss it and you are straight back to scanning — nothing stays pinned.

Your Trade Desks

A trade desk is a saved, named bundle of your whole setup — signals, regime, scope, watchlists, and layout — with one trading focus (you trade it by hand, or an AI or Mechanical trader runs it). Desks live in the left rail on desktop: click a card to fly the board to it, and open a card’s ⋮ menu for its actions — add a signal, share a public link, clone it, remove it from the rail, or delete it. Switching desks also flies the data: the board re-reads the new desk’s own timeframe, so scores and counts are always the desk’s truth. Desks on the same timeframe swap instantly; vyx pre-warms your other desks’ timeframes in the background so a cross-timeframe switch lands on warm history rather than a cold load. Cloning makes your own editable copy of any desk, including the built-in templates: the copy appears next to the original ready to rename, your live board never switches, and a copy of an automated desk always starts Manual, so cloning can never touch a running trader.

• New here? Your account starts with six ready-made desks — Top Gainers, Whale Flow, Liquidity Sweeps, Order-Book Imbalance, Funding & OI, and a Wedge consolidation desk — grouped by market, so you have working boards to read from the first second.
• Every desk carries its own ⓘ that explains, in plain language, what it shows, how it is built, and how to read it — the six templates, a desk you cloned, and a desk the AI built for you all keep their own card, so you never get a generic note. Open it any time; the desk you land on shows its own the first time you sign in.
• Add a desk by describing it: click + on the rail and type what you want — “coins with a funding flip and a fresh sweep, crypto only” — and the AI builds that desk, writes its ⓘ card so you can see what it made, and switches you to it. Or start from a template, a blank board, or a copy of your current one.
• Keep the rail to what you are actually trading. The rail holds your working set, not everything you own: pick Remove from rail on a desk’s ⋮ menu and the card leaves the rail while the desk itself is kept — nothing is deleted. Click + and every desk you own is listed under Your desks, the ones already on the rail marked as such, so a parked desk is one click from coming back. Deleting, which does discard a desk for good, stays a separate action behind its own confirm.
• Your desks follow you across devices. Everything on a desk — its signals, the chart levels and markers you turn on, plot colors, sort and scope — plus which desk you have open and the desks in your rail, syncs to your account. Set up your desks on your laptop, open VYX on your phone, and you land on the same desk with the same board. Only screen-specific layout — panel widths, the chart/heatmap split — stays per device, so each screen size stays comfortable.

Trade Desks On Your Phone

On mobile, your saved trade desks live as a row of pills at the very bottom of the screen, under the view tabs. The active desk is named right there, so the top of the screen stays clear for the chart and heatmap. Tap a pill to switch boards in one motion — the view you were in stays put, so you can flip through your setups without losing your place. Scroll the row sideways if you have many, and use the layers button beside the row to add, rename, clone, or share desks.

• The active desk pill shows its live match count; switching is instant and never loses your scan.
• The Monitor pill sits first in the row with its own look: one screen with your open positions, what your traders and automations just decided, and the latest signal hits — everything worth checking across your account, wherever it happened.
• Tap anything in the Monitor to jump straight to it: a position opens your trade book on that market, a signal hit focuses that market on the board.
• You can tune a signal from your phone, not just read it. Open the layers button, expand the active desk, and pick Edit signal on a signal card — the full editor opens over the board: combine mode, what to compare against, level settings, each indicator’s direction, role and weight, adding indicators by formula or with AI, and Proof. The board stays behind it and re-ranks as you change things.
