Managing Your Notifications

One Place That Lists Everything

Settings → Notifications is the registry of what VYX is currently sending you. It lists only what is actually delivering — each subscribed Trade Desk, each AI trader set to notify, your armed price levels, and every device registered for push — with the channels each one uses. Nothing is listed that is not sending, so an empty section means silence, not a hidden switch. Every alert email footers a link straight to it.

Where Each Kind Comes From

VYX never invents an alert. Every notification traces back to something you switched on:

• Trade Desk matches — the Matches toggle in a desk’s Alerts panel. VYX scores that desk’s lit signals every minute and emails you when a market newly starts firing. The subject reads "VYX: <desk> matched" for one desk, or "N desks matched" when several fire in the same minute.
• Patterns — a pattern’s matches ride the Matches toggle of the desk it belongs to. Switching that desk off silences its patterns too.
• Price levels — a level you set on the chart. It notifies once when price crosses it, then disarms itself.
• AI trader notices — the Notify control on a trader: its authored plans, closed trades, and review notes.

Turning Something Off

In Settings → Notifications, each row carries its own switches. On a desk row, tap email or push to drop just that channel, or the × to stop the desk entirely. A trader row has a × that switches its notices off. Devices have their own list — forget one and it stops receiving push immediately, without touching your other devices. Everything you change here is the same switch the desk itself shows, so the two can never disagree.

• A desk row shows how many signals are lit on it and how many patterns are armed — that is exactly what would produce a match.
• Price levels have no channel switch: an armed level always emails and pushes when it crosses. Clear the level on the chart to stop it.
• Turning a channel off never deletes the desk, the level, or the trader — only the notification.

Why You Are Not Getting Spammed

Three limits sit between the board and your inbox, and none of them is configurable because none of them should have to be:

• Only new entrants notify. A market that was already firing last minute does not send again.
• A market that re-fires the same subscription is muted for a cooldown window, so an oscillating reading cannot notify on every re-cross.
• Alert email is capped per account per day. Push is unaffected — it is a nudge, not the record.
