Crypto trading calculators

Free, no-login calculators for the numbers that matter on a perpetuals trade — liquidation price, position size, funding cost, and profit. They run in your browser; nothing is sent anywhere.

How these calculators fit a trade

A leveraged perpetuals trade has four numbers worth knowing before you click, and each has a calculator here. They chain together in the order you make the decision.

  1. 1 · Size the trade to your risk

Decide how much of your account a single trade may lose, then let the stop distance set the size — not the leverage number. The position size calculator turns account, risk-percent, entry, and stop into the exact quantity to trade.

  2. 2 · Know where you get liquidated

Higher leverage pulls your liquidation price closer to entry. The liquidation price calculator estimates that level so you can confirm it sits well beyond your stop, on the right side of the leverage you chose.

  3. 3 · Price the cost of holding

A perpetual charges (or pays) funding every interval. The funding calculator turns a rate into cost per day and APR, so a slow position’s carry doesn’t quietly eat the edge.

  4. 4 · Check the payoff

The profit & PnL calculator shows the result at a target exit — both return on the position and ROI on the margin you posted, where leverage amplifies the percentage in both directions.

FAQ

Are these crypto calculators free?

Yes — every calculator here is free and needs no login or signup. They run entirely in your browser, so nothing you type is sent anywhere. They give simplified estimates for education; real fills depend on fees, funding, margin mode, and each exchange’s exact formula.

Which calculator should I use first?

Work in trade order. Start with the position size calculator to size the trade from your account risk, then the liquidation price calculator to confirm your liquidation sits well beyond your stop. Use the funding calculator to price the cost of holding a perpetual, and the profit & PnL calculator to check the payoff before and after the trade.

Do these work for Hyperliquid perpetuals?

Yes. The formulas apply to crypto perpetual futures generally, including Hyperliquid — which settles funding hourly rather than the 8-hour interval common on centralized exchanges (the funding calculator lets you pick the interval). For a closer liquidation estimate, enter your venue’s maintenance-margin rate.

Is this financial advice?

No. These are educational tools that do arithmetic on numbers you supply. They do not recommend trades, predict price, or account for your full risk. VYX is a research and visualization tool, not trade advice.

These calculators are educational and give simplified estimates — real fills depend on fees, funding, margin mode, and each exchange’s exact formula. Nothing here is financial advice. Want to see the markets behind the numbers? Open the live VYX scanner or start the Academy.
