What Pulse Shows

Pulse tells the order-flow story of one market at a time. The desk analyst reads each covered market’s last 30 days as enriched candles — price plus the tape, book, and positioning behind every bar: cumulative volume delta, open-interest change, funding, resting-book imbalance, large single prints and one-sided runs, and how much of the volume repeat large wallets printed — and carves the chart into the segments a trader would draw, annotating each with what that flow says. Every number shown beside a segment is measured from collected data. The result is a forensic read of who was buying, who was covering, and who absorbed — segment by segment.

How To Read A Segment

• The label (trend up, trend down, consolidation) and net change describe what price did; the stats row describes the flow inside the move.
• CVD against price is the tell: price up on flat or negative CVD points to passive absorption or a squeeze; price flat on heavy negative CVD means bids are absorbing sell pressure.
• Open interest separates new positioning from unwinding — a rally on falling OI is short covering, not fresh longs.
• The current read describes the live segment as it stands, carries the analyst’s honest lean — long, short, or neutral — and a Watching line naming the setup it wants and the level that matters. An opinion on the tape, never advice.
