Reading the venue, not one chart
A price chart shows one market’s result. This page shows the whole exchange’s behaviour: who is paying to trade right now, how big they are, and whether the money is arriving or leaving. A cluster of big sells across many markets at once is a venue-wide move, not one coin’s story; rising open interest with buyers leading is new money pressing, while falling open interest is positions closing. For any one market, the Hyperliquid market pages break the same read down, and the vyx desk scans every market minute by minute.
What is a whale print on Hyperliquid?
A single aggressive trade large enough to stand out from the rest of the tape. Whale rain plots each market’s largest taker buy and sell every minute, across every Hyperliquid market, so you can see where the big hands hit and whether they came back.
What does "the same wallets came back" mean?
Hyperliquid names the wallet behind every trade. When most of a minute’s flow in a market came from wallets that were already among its biggest takers the minute before, the print gets a ring: the same hands are still pushing, not a one-off.
How is the heartbeat calculated?
Every 15 minutes, every market is folded into six numbers: the share of markets where takers bought more than they sold, net taker flow in dollars, total open interest, open-interest-weighted funding, the count of prints over $100k, and the count of sweeps — markets where a two-second burst ran at least 1,000× its normal pace.
Where does the data come from?
vyx’s own collectors, which read every Hyperliquid market’s order book and trade tape live and check every stored bar against the venue. The same data drives the vyx desk, its scanner and its AI.
