- Is the imbalance persistent or just one print?
- Does price move with the pressure or reject it?
- Is the reading unusual for this symbol and interval?
- Would the same rule make sense during both calm and volatile sessions?
A Better Habit
Treat imbalance as a filter for where to look next. The stronger workflow is scan, inspect, compare, then decide.
